Julie danced with the Korean National Ballet for 10 years until she retired in 2010. A few years before she retired, she had a chance to experience yoga. Her first impression about yoga was that it was a type of workout that was easy. However, the more she was exposed to yoga, she was drawn into such a strong connection that she just couldn’t stop coming back to her mat.
Over the years, Julie came across many different styles of yoga like, Bikram, Hatha, Ashtanga, Yin, Restorative, Vinyasa, Power Yoga, etc. She realized yoga is definitely more than just a workout. Throughout practicing yoga over 13 years, Julie rediscovered her authentic self because yoga helps her to be her best everyday.
Julie recently completed 200 hours YTT with Performance Power Yoga under Sherry Lankford in August 2022. She is passionate about integrating daily yoga practices into everyone’s life.
