Emily has been a partial hand amputee since the age of 13 but didn’t let that stop her from finding solace in dance and sports. She found a love of Power Vinyasa Yoga as an adult and was blown away by its ability to encourage healing and growth both physically and emotionally in a short period of time. The strength, grace and focus of hot power yoga has inspired her to teach yoga for the last six years. She is fortunate to have taught yoga to all ages from children and seniors to athletes and veterans and everyone in between. She finds a lot of joy in teaching yoga and has made many friends along the way. She loves to be outdoors, listen to music and spend time with her family. She believes your yoga practice should support your health and the discovery of finding out who you really are. Emily is a 500-hour certified yoga instructor (200 E-RYT and 300 hour RYT) and a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider. She is an integral part of Performance Power Yoga’s 200 hour Teacher Training program and the studio’s lead instructor.
