Crystal was first introduced to yoga while attending college at UGA. On the search for natural, alternative ways to manage my stress and anxiety, she decided to give yoga a shot. Although she wasn’t sold at first mention, Crystal started noticing the positive effects immediately and found herself practicing the recommended poses at-home in between studying and my once-a-week yoga sessions. Ever since then, she has used yoga time and time again to help cope with the challenges of daily life and even more-so during times of extreme stress. This first-hand experience of the positive effects practicing yoga made her want to share the many gifts of yoga with others who may be struggling in similar ways. She plans to one day use the help of her psychology degree to become a Yoga Therapist to work with clients on a more individualized basis and to help them achieve balance and peace in their lives. Crystal received her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in August 2020 from Performance Power Yoga.
